Terms of Service

Effective for all services provided by Tech Center One, organized by business line.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Tech Center One's website and your purchase of any service from Tech Center One ("we," "us," "our"), including Tech Support, Marketing, Digital, and Technology services. By requesting, purchasing, or using any service from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Our Business Lines

Tech Center One operates four service lines, each with its own scope of work and billing structure described below and in the applicable statement of work, quote, or invoice:

  • Tech Support — on-demand personal and business technical support (computers, mobile devices, networks, software).
  • Marketing — web design & development, branding & graphic design, SEO, SEM, PPC, social media marketing/optimization, digital marketing strategy, and content marketing.
  • Digital — website hosting support, business phone & VoIP support, and network connectivity support.
  • Technology — domain services, hosting services, and dedicated server deployment and management.

2. Eligibility & Acceptable Use

You must be authorized to request work on the device, account, domain, server, or network in question, and you must be at least 18 years old to enter into a service agreement with us. You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose, to request access to systems or accounts you are not authorized to access, or to direct us to publish content that is fraudulent, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of others.

3. Tech Support — Service Delivery & Payment

Tech Support engagements are billed strictly on a pay-after-delivery basis. A technician diagnoses and resolves your issue first; you verbally confirm the work is complete and satisfactory over the phone; only then is payment collected using your chosen method (e-check, ACH, or major credit card) through our staff's merchant payment interface. No Tech Support payment is ever collected in advance of service delivery. Because payment always follows completed, confirmed work, Tech Support charges are final and non-refundable — see our Refund Policy for full details.

4. Marketing, Digital & Technology — Engagements, Deposits & Billing

Marketing, Digital, and Technology services are quoted as either (a) fixed-price projects (e.g., a website build, a logo package, a domain transfer), (b) monthly retainers (e.g., ongoing SEO, social media management, managed hosting), or (c) recurring infrastructure fees (e.g., hosting, domain renewals, dedicated servers). The applicable structure is stated in your quote or invoice.

  • Fixed-price projects typically require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due on delivery or at agreed milestones. Deposits secure our schedule and cover work already performed, and are non-refundable once work has started.
  • Monthly retainers(Marketing and Digital subscription services) are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until canceled. Retainers may be canceled at any time with written notice; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period, since that period's work is already scheduled or underway.
  • Technology infrastructure fees (domain registration and renewal, hosting, dedicated servers) are largely pass-through costs charged by third-party registrars, hosts, and data centers. These fees are non-refundable once the domain, hosting plan, or server has been provisioned, consistent with the refund terms of the underlying provider.

See our Refund Policy for full detail by service type.

5. Sales Tax

Sales tax is applied to invoices for customers located in the State of Georgia, in accordance with Georgia law. Customers located outside Georgia are not charged Georgia sales tax on our services.

6. Revisions & Scope Changes

Marketing and Digital projects include a defined number of revision rounds as stated in your quote or plan. Requests outside the agreed scope — additional pages, extra design concepts, expanded campaign scope, or new deliverables not in the original quote — will be quoted separately before work begins.

7. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you own the final deliverables created specifically for you (e.g., your website code, logo files, ad creative, written content). We retain ownership of our own pre-existing tools, templates, and internal processes used to produce that work. Domains and hosting/server accounts registered on your behalf are registered in your name and owned by you.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tech Center One is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim relating to a specific service is limited to the amount paid for that service.

9. No Warranty

Services are provided on an as-completed, professional-effort basis. For Tech Support, we warrant only that the specific issue described and confirmed resolved at the time of service was addressed; we do not warrant against unrelated future issues. For Marketing, Digital, and Technology services, we do not guarantee specific search rankings, ad performance, follower counts, or revenue outcomes — results depend on many factors outside our control, including market conditions and third-party platform algorithms.

10. Third-Party Platforms & Providers

Many of our services rely on third-party platforms (e.g., Google, Meta, domain registrars, hosting providers, payment networks). We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or account actions taken by those third parties, though we will assist you in resolving issues where possible.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate an ongoing engagement with written notice as described in your service agreement. Fixed-price project deposits and completed work are non-refundable upon termination; retainer engagements are billed through the end of the current billing period.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
